Do like that toning. I'm thinking (a weak) MS65. Is that a horizontal die crack just above Abe's eye?

i like the color on this one. scuff in obv right field. nice reverse. just a few minor ticks. hard to tell whats above the eye. staple scratch or die crack? its going to take a closeup look at that to tell.

The disturbances in the right, obverse field hurt this a bit, but it's a beauty still! Looks like a die crack across the temple area to me.

Thanks for the comments and grades. To answer questions: yes that is a die crack, the obverse right field is regrettably with some black grease from the Mint.

if it is grease I would suggest using 100% acetone it should remove it. repost it you try that. just an FYI do not use nail polish remover. even though it is acetone it contains other ingredients that will leave residuals on the coin

I don't think this is grease, just a dark stain common on the 1954-S's. In my experience, it cannot be removed without hurting the toning.
