I am new to "officially" collecting, much to my wife's chagrin, but I have been interested in coins since childhood. My favorites are the Bicentennials for some reason. I lived through it, and still remember some of the activities, like something called the Bicentennial train. It stopped at a town near us, and I enjoyed it enough I still remember it. I also enjoy pennies. I once had a 1909-s VDB that I sold back in 1983. In hindsight I should have kept it, but I needed $$ Coin roll hunting is also fun, when I have time to get to a bank.
