Your detail is better and the patina in more even, however I prefer the color of the other two better. Something tells me your coin was monkeyed with long ago. I'm nitpicking of course. Yours is an outstanding coin and deserving of the grade.

Thanks again for all of your comments. This sold tonight for $528,000. Almost exactly twice what it sold for in 2006. Not a great rate of return for that buyer which I calculate at 4.073% APR if he realized the entire final amount (not likely) over 17 years.

Not a bad return if you factor in the enjoyment level over 17 years, assuming the buyer/seller wasn't just an investor.

Between the NGC and PCGS CAC example, it is a comparison of originality other than detail. The NGC looks better than a 45 but lacks all originality, likely net graded. The PCGS CAC example is solid and merits the grade.
