not sure if it will help you see the difference but here's a large and small side by side in a pile of random pennies.

if you can tell us the weight, we can provide that answer. However, the rot on the reverse makes it look like it's the zinc version so not rare and not in great shape

Small date, yes. Does look like a zinc core cent--note the zinc rot. Worth one cent
