1943 D Steel Penny Toning?

I recently acquired a few 43 steel pennies that appear to be slightly under MS condition but one of them in particular has a rainbow type toning. Is this a typical toning color for the 43 steel pennies? FYI - they were all packaged (not mint packaging) separately and appeared as if they had been so for a while. I had to remove to take decent pics.

Thank you for the added pic. The edge looks "shiny' and it should not. I am thinking it has been replated which makes it PMD.

Agree likely reprocessed with some undetermined environmental toning, just worth face value.

The pics are out of focus, hard to see much. It's highly unusual for these to tone. The surfaces do not look re-plated to me. The coin appears to be MS, most of the re-plated coins are AU and lower in my experience. Without clearer pictures, it's hard to say much more.

i don't know what happened to this coin but that color is not normal for a steelie.

Something else I was curious about is the mint mark. Does it look like a D over D to anyone?
