Notes: I may have mixed up some of the obverse/reverse photos. If you see one, sorry for any confusion. I did a poor job of keeping all the images properly coupled. 1 . Finds - 6 error coins - 2 misfits that I've taken out of circulation - 10 coins for my penny album 2. Stats Year Count % <1979 29 6% 1980-1989 39 8% 1990-1999 51 10% 2000-2009 38 8% 2010-2019 115 23% 2020+ 227 45% 499 100% Total coins First up is the spreadsheet Next are a bevy of images for the error coins. I had a miserable time trying to capture the error and keep the coin in focus. So be gentle with comments, please. 1983p-die-crack-lower-left-corner 1990p-xtra-col-on-left 1994-p-fat "L" in Liberty 1994p-die-crack-lower-bust 1994-p-xtra-column to right of Lincoln I've got 6 more sets of images. I'll start another post here for those.

Your efforts are simply beyond my grasp. Common blistered coins, common die breaks - why are you even doing this?

Sorry - these are not errors, just common die breaks, scratches and plating bubbles or blisters.

Quote: why are you even doing this? First, thanks for the discouragement. Errors? Maybe not but then what would be the accepted term so I don't misspeak again? Why? Why does anyone CRH? Me? I'm working on my penny album and looking for key dates and coins worth more than face value. And while I'm at it why not record what I'm observing and collect those non-errors just for the heck of it. I'm retired now and it keeps me busy. Too.

Keep looking Mike, don't get discouraged, especially when ppl that have been doing this hobby for longer than I've been alive, get frustrated when newbies might mis-label, an anomolie that looks like it could be important to them, but other seasoned collectors know it's just PMD!! Trust me not everyone on the forum is that low on patience, while full of smart a** comments!! I was in your same shoes, was two seconds from letting my inner redneck show, likely being removed from forum, after blowing a gasket when certain members told me something similar

I mean if the goal of the site is to get ppl interested in the hobby, not sure if demeaning, derogatory, comments, to new members, just trying to learn, is the appropriate approach!! Surely things could've been worded differently, maybe not sounding so rude

I agree with Mike and CCB420, it is fun to do small projects like these, I hope that the others who were a little rude remember to treat others how they themselves want to be treated. I think of doing projects with my coins all of the time, once I clean my room.
