Happy Sunday! I am going through some wheat pennies, and I have found a few with the L on the rim. This one caught my eye because it looks like maybe a grease problem causing the T not to show? (In God We Trust). There is also some damage on the back that looks interesting. This is obviously in poor condition, but I am curious to see what you guys think happened with the In God We Trust portion? Thank you!

Just PMD. The L thing is part of the design that year. The dies were redesigned in 1969...I think, not positive of the year.

L on the rim is just an ebay scam to relieve people that don't know coin errors from their money. It is not an error. It's just master dies wearing out.
