Not dipped in MS70 or Acetone--please see withdrawing color and bands in Lincoln Hair and on surface periphery of obverse and reverse

Very nice. I wouldn't kick it out of my Dansco dedicated to toned wheat cents.
Is that a die crack on the obverse--back of Abe's shoulder--running to the rim?

Beautiful coin. Would it straight grade? No idea.

MS62 due to blotchy color on rev and obv scuffs
i agree with coinfrog. really can't get a good read if it would grade straight and color due to photos. I think this is one you need to see in hand so that it can be rotated to determine red and luster remaining

I should have called it by its known name, which is pull away toning: https://www.monstertonedmorgans.com...20to%20mimic. But what I meant was the concept of toning in the details of devices in the hair are and should not be uniform like all purple, all blue, there should be differences in the colors withdrawing from each instead of straight lines curves, that establishes the boundary.

Unclear what you're saying. Does this coin exhibit "pull away toning"?

Nice toner! I like this toning and own a few similar coins myself. For certain the TPG's don't like it. I have a 1945 "UNC DETAILS" PCGS slab sitting on my desk right now that looks quite similar to yours. I need to take pictures - will soon. As for me, BAH to the TPG's, I don't much care what they say about toners. All of them have a pretty tight window of acceptability and it's pretty unwavering. A body bag certainly does not 100% mean a coin has been tampered with. It only means it fell out of THEIR window of acceptability with a probability of tampering. It's up to us collectors to determine acceptability - not the TPGs. If you like it, then collect it!
I think this coin may have seen very, very light circulation OR it's just been though a lot of collector hands over it's life (most likely). Is that a straight die crack from rim over the lower bust or a scratch, looks to extend to the rim? AU-62/63 (lots of disturbances in the fields, depends on cartwheel luster quality too)

Here's an interesting example of similar toning. I and 100% state for fact this coin is original as they come. I friend of mine received it from a Mason circa 1951, he stashed it away and I discovered it in his coin stash he let me cherry pick just years ago. Lincolns commonly tone in blue.
