Would love a confirmation from @Kamnaskires as to the type but anyone else is welcome to contribute. Picked this up a few months ago and never posted it.

Came with an older Kraft paper envelope identifying this as Göbl I/1 136. I don't have any modern references to confirm, and all the listings I can find for that particular variety don't seem to quite match exactly this coin in one way or another.

Sasanian drachm of Bahram (Varhran) IV, 388-399 a.D.
AR, 4.1 grams, 25.3x24.5mm, some light golden-reddish toning. I made those measurements myself, the envelope had none.
One of the dies is rotated about 90 degrees counterclockwise (not shown in the photo)

I rather like it, it looks quite nice in hand, considering how old it is!

Hey paralyse,
I don't know if you got anywhere with this one. I have no background in this type.
I was just poking around on World Of Coins and the name Sasanian on one of the boards caught my eye. Might be worth posting this query there (if you haven't already done so), seems to be a lot of exposure to things Sasanian there.

Cheers ttkoo
