Interested in what people's thoughts are on this. Seems to be an Inverted "D" struck over a normal one. never seen it before

Not seeing an RPM. I'm only seeing a hit or a broken post, on the mint mark.

I'm new at this but my 1st impression was PMD.

Suggestion: Always include full photos of both sides of the coin. Sometimes you can see scratches or dents nearby the area of interest which, if align, suggest an alternative assessment.

My perception must be off because the curved anomaly on the right side of the MM looks raised to me and even continues into the field.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

What I see is the upper right corner of the MM took a hit towards the center of the MM. I don't see the field issue spoken of.
