mrwiskers Pillar of the Community United States 1780 Posts	Posted 11/13/2023 5:52 pm sel, there were no cobs with portraits, ...this piece certainly has cross/quadrants with what appears to be lions & castles, but the portrait negates any cobs struck by the Spanish (not an expert, but a long-time collector of cobs...) ... here's a bit of a coin with a similar cross within a circle design I've had for a while ... it's thinner, but, dang if the cross design doesn't look similar ...
