My first thought is that it may be a cut down cob to 2 Reales.
Need to know the weight to support or disprove this theory.

sel, there were no cobs with portraits, ...this piece certainly has cross/quadrants with what appears to be lions & castles, but the portrait negates any cobs struck by the Spanish (not an expert, but a long-time collector of cobs...)
... here's a bit of a coin with a similar cross within a circle design I've had for a while ... it's thinner, but, dang if the cross design doesn't look similar ...
