Very Good (VG) is a technical grade that represents a high degree of circulation wear. Next time use something like 'well preserved'. panzaldi Bedrock of the Community United States 18635 Posts	Posted 11/23/2023 09:33 am keep in mind the coin is 50 years old. it has passed through multiple hands prior to yours. anything could have happened prior to that. we understand you like to clean certain coins. just keep in mind there are modern coins can have a decent value. anytime you touch the surfaces of a coin you kill its value and collectability. before cleaning anything do you research to ensure it is not one of those and if you are unsure don't touch it Report this Post to the Staff
