Can someone please tell or explain why it looks cleaned ? I can't see any scratch marks or anything to show me it was cleaned.

the original skin has been removed. look at the fields. dull, discolored and blotchy

Agree color looks off. MS details, dipped. If this was a Morgan or Peace dollar it wouldn't matter but dipped copper is always details.
