Hey Folks,

I got 25 half dollars from 1941 to 1962 and I'm trying to find out if they're worth anything? Do they have collectors value or are they only worth the weight in silver?

Thanks for the help!

That depends on the grade. Franklin halves generally aren't worth a whole lot unless in high grade, but worth more than melt unless in low grade. Take good pictures of your best one and post in the grading forum. List the dates and mint marks for a better idea of what you have. Check NGC or PCGS price guides to see what the more valuable ones might be. Welcome to CCF.

To CCF! As stated, depends on condition. If you can get pictures, that would help.

Piling on - it depends on condition.

If they are average circulated grade then value is mainly tied to the silver content.

If they are gem uncirculated then every coin has a numismatic premium.
