This is EXACTLY what I was fearing would happen !......
To be one of the lucky few to get your order in "before" they sell out......STILL does NOT mean you're gonna actually get your order.......
OH !.....I just love doing business with the United States Mint.....it's one of the few joys in life that I get so much pleasure from ....
This especially makes me look forward to ordering the "Special Lincoln Set" when it comes time at 12:01 on that "on sale" day !
Because, as we know, just because you successfully got your order in, DOES NOT MEAN YOU'RE GOING TO GET THE PRODUCT !...
AHHHH........the quality of the "labor help" is legendary.......the management practices are ever growing in popularity......I JUST REALLY FEEL ALL WARM AND FUZZY INSIDE ABOUT "MY" UNITED STATES MINT !.....WOOOO HOOOO

Okay......I'll stop now.....I'm worried too about "my" order !

I called and this is what happened. When I ordered the 2 sets, I entered my credit card. About 2 weeks later, my bank sent me a new card, due to my bank having a security breach (All members got new cards). So I had to activate the new card immediately. So upon doing so I changed my CC on file at the mint. This doesn't change the card used for existing orders, and it got declined twice. Nothing can be done, and I'm out my order. The bottom line is if the mint would have sent my order in a timely manner, this wouldn't have happened. If anyone has one extra set and would like a charity case, I would pay $8.95+ the mints shipping fee for a set. Dang I'm bummed!!

Yep that will do it. There was another coin not too long ago that had a long delay between the ordering period and the actual delivery of the coins and a lot of people got their orders canceled because their cards had expired in the meantime. The thing is, as you discovered changing the card you have n file with the mint doesn't help because they use the card the order was placed with. If your card changes you MUST call the mint and have a customer service rep go into any open orders you have with them and change the card number in each order. You can't change them and they have to be changed individually by the people there.
