Pre-1965-Silver-Washington-Quarter:-Is-This-A-Die-Clash?
Silver quarter on ebay. Trying to make up my mind if I'm interested. Is this, in fact, a die clash? Or is it something else?

Edit: I'm turning this image sideways, upside down. Maybe it's just the shadow of a reed mark or hit? Hard to say with only one picture and no access to the coin.

It sure looks like the remnants of a Die Clash. I can see heavy polishing lines as well.

Well, he's got it listed for $2.50 over melt. If I decide to buy more stuff later in the week, maybe I will bid on that one and see what happens.

I see polish lines behind the head, but what is in front of the mouth, I don't think is a clash (unless the die was rotated some)
