Hi, I am new to this forum, I inherited some coins and now assessing them. Without knowing too much I put one coin for sale now on catawiki because it seemed worth something. It is a Kronenthaler from 1789. It also shows a 'B' which indicated minting in Kremnitz. However, I only found proof for that minting location for the ones from 1784 and 1788? What's the worth here? Coin is not in perfect condition, but if I am not incorrect it is the only one on the world (?!)

First we need to determine what coin you have! What is the size (diameter)?
If it is about 30 mm, you have a 1/4 Kronenthaler like this one: https://www.coinarchives.com/w/lotv...7f8719f47f50

Gotcha! My mistake indeed. Thanks a bunch. It is about 30 mm, not the desired 39 mm for 1 Kronenthaler.

Difficult to assign a grade due to the differences between the two sides. Obverse condition is no better than Fraai, reverse is a solid Zeer Fraai. So together you could say ZF- perhaps

The online NGC guide is listing this coin in three grades:

VF is far stretched given the wear on the obverse hair and face. Yet it is definitely better than the VG quote. A quarter Kronenthaler is listed among the Austrian Netherlands coins, but it was never minted there and probably never even circulated. You can find this coin with the 'A' mintmark for Vienna and the 'B' for Kremnitz such as yours.
