Just picked up this undated off center Indian. It's an early date! The last feather on the headdress is between the I and C of America, so it was minted from 1864 - 1886. Then, I think I see a Shallow N on the reverse. Is that right? Anyone see anything I missed?

I'm actually unclear on this - what years were the shallow N like this one? Was it 69-72?
And yes, this one has definitely been cleaned.

RedRaider - Thanks for those details. I did see, what I think is a die crack at the top of AME. I wonder if there happens to be a Snow variety with that crack. Any thoughts there?

Shallow N reverses are found on all dates through 1869, then partially on 1870, 1871 and 1872, and then exclusively on regular issue 1877s.

I went through every single variety from 1864-1872 to match up the die crack I saw in the seller's picture with the diagnostics from indiancentvarieties. I found a match to the 1865 Fancy 5 Variety 35. Check out the image on the site on the left and the one from the undated off center on the right. Excited to get better pictures when I have it in hand. And of course it figures that I already have an 1865 off center.
