Hi all, here's a little set of draped silvers I put together, I picked them specifically for that look where they have a dark border but lighter on the inside. I know tastes run all over the place, some like bright throughout, others a 'circulation cameo', there's the flat gunmetal look, but this is the look that calls to me. What do you think?

I love it! The appearance is consistent and attractive across the board. Next step, get yourself a draped bust Half Dime, and next upgrade that quarter to match the condition of the others

Then all the gold types

Thank you all! For the quarter I (obviously) wanted a 1796 but in this range of condition the price tag is just too much, so a later coin will have to suffice. And I have a Half Dime and half dollar, both are raw and with 'problems', so for now the type set has the slots filled but those would be my next upgrades. Thank you again, cheers!

Showing the reverses brings up another question, whether the small eagle is needed to fulfill the "type". Here only the dime has the small bird, the other two are the later (lower-cost) large eagle. Hoping to convince myself that the draped bust obverse is "all you need" But guess that's a topic for a separate thread.
