Hondo Boguss, these are beauties even with a little wear and tear! Anyway, here it's only the inner qualities that count!

Nice one, NumisRob - it's beautiful! I like Costa Rica coins due to spending much time in that beautiful country. I just looked into getting one of those, and they are hard to find in that condition.

You guys are KILLIN' IT!!!

I figured 60-69% might go pretty well, with nice round numbers like 60 and 65, and two easy fractions like 2/3 and 5/8.

I have a bad feeling about 50-59%, but we'll see ....

We've found 8 out of 10 possible percentages, and for all I know, coins were never struck to those other percents (66, 61):

69% Poland ¼ thaler 1657 KM#A94 (tdziemia)
68% France 20 francs 1930s KM#879 (erafjel, Hondo Boguss)
67% France 30 sols 1792 KM#606 (ironhorse)
65% Costa Rica 25 centimos 1924 KM#168 (NumisRob)
........Portugal 50 escudos 1971 KM#601 (triggersmob)
64% Austria 5 schillings 1963 KM#2889 (Hondo Boguss)
........Curacao ½ guilder 1944 KM#44 (Hondo Boguss)
........Netherlands 25 cents KM#164 (triggersmob)
63% Germany 5 marks 1958 KM#123.1 (mrwhatisit)
........Poland 2 gulden 1770 KM#186.2 (tdziemia)
62% Flanders 4 stuivers 1540 N#96940 (tdziemia)
60% Straits Settlements 20 cents 1927 KM#30b (Hondo Boguss)
........Sweden 20 ore 1907 KM#775 (triggersmob)

We'll hang out here until the appointed date to roll over to the 50s, and of course any other additions are welcome.

I'll try to look through my uploaded pics in advance for various silver fineness...
...looks like I'll have to remember my coins with 31% (x2, if Numista figures are to be trusted), 21%, and 14% fineness, but other than that I don't have much worth mentioning.

For now I have a little brother to Hondo's 1944 Curacao coin...

KM# 43, Numista 3077. The 1944 issue was minted in Denver.
I'm not sure if I can spell "Curaçao" properly on this forum - our Unicode handling is iffy at the best of times!

Darn. I have a later type that is 0.601 (though it makes me wonder if there is a typo in there somewhere).

tanman's Numista link doesn't work, but I found it:
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces43649.html
However, it doesn't list the silver content. Are yall getting it from Krause or some other reference?
