I recently inherited a few coins from my father. I have a we have a 1976 minted coins. We're looking for the value? According to what I'm reading I'm confused. The minted $1 does not have a mark under Eisenhower's head from where it was minted. Please somebody help us we're looking to sell on what the value of this is. Reading online is so confusing. But from my daughter and I understanding and looking at it has no minted Mark.

no mint mark means it was minted in Philadelphia.
We will need a couple good photos to really help you.

Sounds like you have an Eisenhower dollar minted in Philadelphia (which has no mint mark). Circulated examples are worth a dollar or two. Higher grades can be worth more, but we would have to see an image to begin to speculate on its condition.

Reading between the lines I get the feeling you've gotten the impression from some online charlatans that " no mint mark" coins are somehow valuable. I see on ebay that there are 241 Eisenhower dollars advertising them as " no mint mark." I can see where someone new gets deceived by this. An outrageous number of these sellers are asking more than $500 for these, which is ludicrous. You are coming to the right forum for accurate information. " no mint mark" means nothing. There are a handful of "no S" proof coins minted in San Francisco that omitted the mint mark, and that's where all this nonsense originated.
