The last month or so I have had the privilege of having numerous interactions with Mr. McIntosh. I have to admit that I was skeptical and figured that it was going to be another typical flash story that would die very quickly. Boy was I wrong. As the recent stories (check his bio. https://globalnews.ca/author/andrew-mcintosh/ ) show, he will dig and get the answers that no other reporter apparently can be bothered to do. His most recent story about the "unknown plea agreement" is awesome. https://globalnews.ca/news/10162729...ounterfeits/ Now for the rest of the story. Remember when dies for the "New Dollar" coin were lost/stolen.....Mr. McIntosh was covering this. He was shown the new design.......The Loon Dollar. That day....he coined the term (pun intended) Call it a Loonie! Now retired Communication Director of the RCM unofficially presented Andrew with a plaque! Fake toonies, as you know mikey, have been around for a long time, but the camel-toes took the cake.
