This coin was never strike twice. You has wrong perception of the 1998 Denver strikes of the penny. This coin was strike on MRH 150 Shuler horisontal presses which was test for high production first on Denver for Cents.

Other thing on your coin it is the zinc expansion do to the deterioration of the metal due to otuside interfferences.

Damage coin.

Well, that's irrelevant.

I still don't see the lettering that you're talking about. Is the lettering mirror style? That would make a big difference.

I can see what you are calling a T, but it is just a mark that happens to look like a T. It is a damaged, corroded cent with possibly some foreign substance stuck to it as well. Over magnification just exaggerates the anomalies that are present on any coin in this condition.

Quote:
it was hit in the die 2 times there are 2 different coin rings and lettering on it
You just started in this hobby. If that's what you think, put it in a 2X2 label it and set it aside. Every post here totaling centuries of experience agrees that it's just damage, except you. Later when you have a little more experience, take it out and look at it again. Hopefully you will see it as damage. If not send it in to a grading company to be verified. Just make sure you come back here to tell us the outcome.
