I hope I uploaded these right. I found a 1993D Washington 25C with some damage on the reverse that doesn't look like PMD. It has its clad layers, I don't have a scale. Any idea what's going on with this coin?

Use natural light and post a full picture of the coin. It makes it so much easier to see what is going on.

The last pic it is the best.

You have relative heavy circulated coin which show the normal design type II, which it is normal for year. This year has the particularity find in all the coins of the right wing as you look been line doubling. In fact it is the Hub ajustment.

I do not see annomalies or Mint errors.

Powerslave307 Perhaps the coin has been heavily polished or whizzed?

I don't think so, look at the first set of pics. The lines are on the field inside letters. I'm thinking it had to be done to the raw planchet or the die surface. I'm puzzled what it could be though. Thinking about sending it in to be graded. They may know. Never seen anything like it.

@Power, it's an interesting coin but certainly not worth the $$$ to send off for grading.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

to the CCF Just some kind of staining. Do not send it in, it's worth .25 cents.
