Good day folks,

Die marker's seem to match up on Wexler's. Despite the obvious doubled ear and beard, I am seeking info on the bow tie as for some reason I am not seeing it. Appears doubling on "God" in "In God We Trust" as well. There is a "raised" area / extra material under the nose, SW, almost as if a mustache. A rounded/raised darkened area. Please be kind as I get back into the swing of things due to disabilities. Best I could do on the photo's. Microscope and camera's are being fussy. Thank you very much for looking, any opinion's and information. I appreciate all of you. ~Charlie (fm)

Looks like the absolute real deal there. Too bad about the fingerprint, but still nice.

Hi, Great find. I have never found that one before. Just the 1997 P, 2006 P and some shield cent doubled die ears.

Great eye. Nice example.
The fingerprint distracts somewhat.

This one has strong, but limited doubling. Your coin seems to show all of it, but likely some of the extra bits you are seeing are Machine Doubling on the coin. It happens often enough that a doubled die coin will also have MD, and while confusing a bit, can be separated out as non-hub doubling and mostly ignored.

Welcome back. Very nice find and your images are well done.
Congrats on the find. (Not for me yet either.)

Your image of the bow tie seems to match CC with just a slight "crease" in the bottom right knob. VV doesn't even have an image of the bowtie so it must not be very prevalent.
