Merry Christmas everyone, hope your holiday season is great!!

I was wondering if this double eagle looks legit or not. Any features that stand out as counterfeit?

Thanks!

All dates in all denominations of US gold coins have been faked.
Rev of coin in pic looks to be OK, on initial examination
Obv pic needs to be better.

If diameter, weight and XRF OK, comparative ping tone against known genuine is the next test.
Any bullion dealer worth his salt will have a hand held XRF instrument.

High quality fakes can be of correct weight and have thick .900 fine gold surfaces to pass XRF. Fake gold bars have been made in this way, and have a tungsten core.
W has almost exactly the same density as Au.
Professional bullion dealers have been deceived by tungsten cored gold bars. That is when ping tone test is indicated, if you are still suspicious.
