You has two aging Dies. Reverse yes and you can see more near the Rims. Less on the High relief design except front of Pres.
The Observe was even more aged Die (Anvil). Aging characteristIcs on the ONE. Observe the lines of the aging Die.

Quite a few 1972-D obverse dies show the effects of severe, overzealous intentional die abrasion. Perhaps a single employee was amped-up and went on a rage-polishing spree.
