AU-50, likely details due to environmental damage or scratches. The light green hue on both the obverse and reverse that hugs the depths of the devices could be a good sign of minor porosity or corrosion.

re the green area: If it is corrosion, is there something I should do to prevent it from getting worse?

Give it an acetone dip in case it is surface level. If it is corrosion, it should be left as-is and won't spread quickly if at all.
