 .. .... ... .... I just noticed that where "it used to say on the release schedule.... Summer.... and Special Lincoln Coin Set"....... NO LONGER EXISTS !!.....IT'S JUST GONE NOW !.....it was there just yesterday ! All that exists for the whole year now are the "two roll Sets" ! So......has anybody heard about the Mint changing their minds and NOT doing the Special Lincoln Coin Set ? Or do you think that because of the high demand they will just "re-schedule" these Special Sets until later in the year ? But as of right now....... THEY DO NOT EXIST ANYMORE ON THE SCHEDULE FOR SUMMER, FALL, OR WINTER !

Maybe " overselling the Lincoln Commem's" has created a problem with this Sets availability now ?.....  Or the Mints "Silver blank" shortage ?.....no, I wouldn't think it'd be that....these should've already been minted I believe. Having the Proof Cents and the Proof Lincoln in one Set and only Minting 50,000 is a sure fire sell out........but what is the deal here I wonder ? My gut tells me that it will "reappear" on the release schedule in the Fall or Winter.....but I'm certainly not basing that on ANYTHING ! The Mint has often "re-shuffled" things around before....or just "pushed the release date" off for a few more months.....so I'm HOPING THAT'S WHAT'S HAPPENING HERE !...  |

I tried calling to ask them about it........I was "on hold" for 30 minutes and had to get back to work here..... SOMEBODY CALL THEM AND ASK THEM PLEASE !Edited by eaglefoot

I called Tuesday and the woman highly recommended to call in the evening. They are there until 12:00PM EST.

My guess is they are evaluating the release date and it will be back up next week with either an actual date or perhaps moved to a "Fall" release.
Don't fret - All will be well.

I hope the are just rethinking the dates and it will be back.Maybe they are just trying to get ahold of me to send out a trial set to see if it meets expectation. Yaa that's it  Well gotta go check my mail  |

Many things in life, over the years had me worry. To date nearly 100% has worked out just fine, that said, I believe the set will be available, also will be re-listed soon, and the date you order the sets, you will be also told "they are back-ordered",worry-not, just my opinion,...  ,, Happy Easter !!! |

I have to agree. I think they are probably having to push back the date because of the backlog filling all of the other orders.

 .....as I mentioned too already...... But it's still the "shock value" of seeing such a highly anticipated Set "disappearing" from the schedule !.... ...... THIS MAKES MONGO ANGRY !(and plus....it's not good for my high blood pressure !..  ) Edited by eaglefoot
