glare can be hiding surface issues especially the area under the chin.

Mid AU - good chance it details

Looks similar to AU-53 to AU-55 specimens I've seen. I'm not great at determining straight grades vs details.

It's a beautiful coin.

EDIT: The photograph is slightly blurry. It might be hiding minor issues.

I also see signs of cleaning. Might straight grade XF but let someone else take the risk.
