Hi All,

I collected all kinds of coins starting from the early 70s to the mid 90s, and have checked my change all my life. I also got into genealogy in the 90s evolving with the hobby using, at that time, the new PCs and budding internet. That was a awesome adventure. Recently I was given some blue books of quarters as a gift. It perked my interest to inventory my humble collection using the same up to date technology as genealogy evolved into. I looked around at the coin inventory software and found Exact Change that seems to fit the bill. I had a couple conversation with them, they are friendly and helpful and most importantly are still enthusiastic about their software. There is much out there with conflicting information. Both the software and conflicts are creating a real learning curve for me. This forum seems like a great place to get help and give some too as I grow with the hobby. But more importantly it is a good place to help start a new adventure.

Welcome LibraryGuy to the forums. This is a great place to ask questions and learn from others experiences. Not sure what your interests are but there is something for everyone here. Take your time in collecting and learn before you buy so that your purchases are ones that leave you happy not frustrated. If you have a local dealer then consider developing a relationship with them. And finally have fun with this hobby as there are so many wonderful people in it. Again welcome...
