I have been trying to research this Fractional but can't find the BG# anywhere. Does anyone know what BG this little guy is? Thanks.

Not too sure about this.
The KM8.1 should have the date on the obverse just under the Liberty head. I don't see it, can you?
How do you know it's date 1854?
I do not have a good feeling about this coin.

The date is inside the wreath. It looks to be 1854. I'll try to get an extreme closeup of the date area.

I checked my Krause and could not find a match.
They do indicate that there is a 'rare' counterfeit 1854.
I will check my other references to see if I can find your entry.
I have not been able to find a pic of the counterfeit.
It may be worth more than an orginal

When I get home tonight from work, (16 hour day today :() I will check the date again. I have two others slabbed by NCS as genuine but also "holed". I believe this is genuine as well. I will check tonight.

According to Mike Locke's website, looks like this may be a BG 308 - R4. 1854 w/* at wreath opening w/ 13 6 point stars obverse.

In my Krause they have most listed. They are in the back section of the US marked territorial. There are multiple states and territories that had their own coins.
Unfortunately for me, they do not have a pic of Vermont's coin just a description. But the description does match his coin.
