wwhitman Pillar of the Community United States 1415 Posts	Posted 04/12/2009 07:49 am I checked my Krause and could not find a match. They do indicate that there is a 'rare' counterfeit 1854. I will check my other references to see if I can find your entry. I have not been able to find a pic of the counterfeit. It may be worth more than an orginal Report this Post to the Staff

There are multiple states and territories that had their own coins. Unfortunately for me, they do not have a pic of Vermont's coin just a description. But the description does match his coin.
