If that is a scratch on the obverse...looks like an older one... I would be tempted to try a conservation...some verdi care. But if you've never done it...Please do a search on copper conservation and don't attempt if you don't feel confident. Do lots of research on this topic...don't jazz it up! panzaldi Bedrock of the Community United States 18664 Posts	Posted 01/21/2024 11:19 am there is a possibility the coin would grade straight as the scratch is outside the key areas and its toned over so its not current AU50 I would probably not verdichem it or do anything to it as it could enhance the scratch Report this Post to the Staff
