Hello

Sharing today all the Wheaties I found so far (probably all..).

Ordered by years:
10s: 1910, 1914, 1915, 1918, 1919
20s: 1929
30s: 1934
40-45: 1941x2, 1943, 1944
45-49: 1946, 1947, 1948
50s: 1951, 1952

Not even one fancy mintmark, all from Philly
But at least I found a war steel penny! The 48 is also pretty red.

Do you see anything worthy of more investigation/attention or better photos? Or if you want to see anyone better let me know!

Anything-Interesting-In-This-Group-Of-Wheaties?

Thanks all!

They look pretty typical to me, but larger images of those from the teens (both sides) would be helpful.

Must be harder to get wheat cents in Italy I would think
One could check the 1941 dated cents for a chance of finding one of three double die obverse varieties...

Also the most valuable of your Lincoln's there would be the 1915 of all dates. For some uncanny reason, the catalog values for that date seem to be higher than nearby Philadelphia minted cents save for the 1909-VDB in the F-12 through high AU.

Might be good to show us the 1915 cent as that could have a little more value than the others. A cursory glance grade in my mind would be in the VF range.

All pennies after 1933 including steelies are a lot more common than pennies before 1934. 1919's are easier to come by. 1914's and 1915's are harder to come by.

It is possible to find a doubled die on any year cent along with other varieties and errors. You just need to learn what to look for.

Well, these were all in my family joint coins hoard, which I'm now sorting. Not being a real collector actively purchasing (yet ) I wouldn't know about how common/rare they are in the open market. As I mentioned in another thread though, plenty of random USA coins around due to expats/WW2 I think.

Giuseppe, You would need to post one coin at a time for an evaluation here.
