Is this a strike through or post mint damage? Also while the pros are looking, is this a split serif on the D ? As always, I appreciate (and need) the help. Thanks.

I would think Struck through (grease). The Mint mark is a RPM, but one of the tilted ones. They are hard to identify.

You are right about that (hard to identify). There are 78 varieties on Chuck's site. As has been the case lately with my finds, the coin is too worn to probably find any markers still visible.

I don't see any evidence of tampering in the picture so 'd have to say it was Struck Through Grease. My very first error coin was similar to this, a 195 dated Washinton Quarter. ~ Jim

RPM yes, struck through not convinced.
