Hello. I apologize in advance for the poor image quality, but these were the best I could manage. I got the quarter back in change. It weighs 5.66 grams. It looks to me like Washington's missing chin on the obverse is visible on the reverse. Also, (not very apparent in the photos) there are letters and numbers scattered across both the obverse and reverse, much more so on the reverse. I was hoping to get some feedback and opinions from people that are better qualified than myself to determine whether this an strike error or post mint damage. I'd appreciate the help. Thank you.

Your coin is PMD not a mint error.

First welcome to CCF. Second, these pics are well above average for a first time poster. Well done.

to the CCF Pictures are just fine. The first thing to learn about errors is, when you have a coin that is gouged, scratched, a divot, with a corresponding buildup of metal above the surface of the coin 99.9% of the time it's damage. It can't happen in the minting process.
