Sorry about clipping having technical limitations. Neat Cud that can be picked up here and there for a small premium. In mint state these are few and far.

Gotta be that feature next to the star below "WE".
I presume the die has a tendency to break there, producing similar Cuds on different date SLQs.

Cuds on Coins has this one listed as DC - 25c -1926s -01 under interior die break.

Cud always involve the rim, so this is an interior die break event.

Robert H Knauss in his book " Standing Liberty quarter Varieties and Errors" 2nd edition, indicates a 1926-Standing Liberty Quarter coin number K-0006 as a Die Chip/Interior Cud "Teardrop Variety" and provides ANACS #2934997 named this variety a "Die Chip Variety" (no photo on ANACS verify), ICG #7850221301 list it as a "teardrop variety" (No photo) and NGC# 3346938-020 1926-S Teardrop VP-001 25c with photo via link below
