I went to my other branch bank this afternoon. While waiting in line I saw and heard a woman drop off to the male teller some large heavy coins. I asked for any Half Dollars, large dollars, and nickels he didn't have nickels but he said a lady just deposited some. I said I'll take them all. He said, "you won't find any silver in these, do you still want them. I responded, of course, I'm looking for NIFC's for my collection. He then produced a bag of $200.00 neatly wrapped unopened uncirculated U.S. Mints Kennedy NIFC's. The loose coins included an impaired proof 1978 S. A couple unremarkable Ike's and no silver. However, the rolls included the following 2001D (not NIFC), 2002 P&D,2003 P,2004 P&D, 2015 P&D, 2016 P&D, 2017 P&D 2018 P&D, 2019 P&D, 2020 P&D2021 P&D. I really needed the 2015-2020.

So how would he have known there was no silver in the rolls?

He doesn't. He was speaking of the loose coins in his till. The 20 rolls are us mint original rolls. So I imagine there is no silver in them and I do not want to open at this time. On ebay they have have some value. What do you think ?

None needed. I was just being silly.
