I'm thinking EF. Although, I am not a pro at grading.

I'm at AU details- cleaned. The flatness in the hair detail is the result of the strike problems with the high relief devices. On the 1921 dollars the area to look at for wear is the hair above the forehead. The hairlines in the field are an indication of an old cleaning.

Agree with EF sharpness, not sure if cleaned from these pics.

A second look at this coin makes me a little suspicious of the area in front of miss liberty. The disturbance in the field (almost box like) makes me wonder if the area wasn't tooled to hide or remove something, especially since the rest of the fields don't appear to have those hairlines. Can you give us an accurate weight, diameter and thickness of this coin?

The pictures don't show it, but the hairlines are all over it. I didn't notice it until I put it in the sunlight. The specs, from the best I could measure at the moment, are 27 g, 38mm, and 2.5 mm.

these are tough to grade but misterT pointed out the key area. I have to agree with the cleaning
AU details (cleaned)
in the future always take coins out of their holder if possible. and watch the overhead lighting glare. if I was to assign a numeric grade i'd call it AU53. straight graded would be about $250. the amount deducted for the cleaning is a more personal decision to the buyer. typically can be anywhere from 30% to 70% less. the weight is correct so I think its legit. based on these photos I don't think the coin was harshly cleaned.

to the CCF Key date, I see low AU but cleaned. As a details coin I would suggest a ~50% reduction in value from a straight grade coin.

Appreciate the additional photo. This clearly shows the coin has been harshly cleaned, sorry to see that on a key date coin.
