Too much glare to see surface details clearly.

A decent amount of wear, EF-45.

Sounds about right, but just a stab. Still to much glare.

Hopefully squeezes mid/low AU, but I'll probably slab it up so it doesn't ever find itself back in a ziplock bag at a pawn shop again for $100!

You made a great buy no matter EF or AU.

I see luster and would guess mid AU. I have no idea how the wear works on these. Still a heck of a nice pickup for $100.

I see a genuine base coin with some AU level wear.

Alas, I'm not convinced the 'Star' addition is genuine.

All known genuine examples have the Star placement directly above N in GRANT.

The OP photos appears to show the Star shifted towards the rim, and in some respects not the correct shape .

I suggest that a reputable TPG will find this coin to be an altered base coin with added Star feature.

I hope the OP proves me wrong with a photo of the coin in a TPG holder!

I also hope you do enough research to see what I'm saying about the discrepancy in Star feature location.

It will definitely save you on TPG submittal $$

I think a bit harsh but came back a genuine star at PCGS XF 45. Still not bad!
