Going through some New Mint Rolls and this Black off color coin is showing up often. So I took a fresh Red and did matching pictures of the Black one without touching the microscope. I'm wondering if the same thing is going on here like the Black 10ct. Was there a batch of planchets over cooked at the mint !! There's lots of pics.

Side by side with a red one would be more useful I think. Otherwise we can't tell if it's just the lighting. I don't know what all the closeups are supposed to be showing us.
