I picked up these Devil's Face banknotes a few years back for face value from my bank. I was looking for thoughts on grade/value.
I assume the $100 is only worth face value because of the missing corner?
What about banknotes with writing on them like the $50 Coyne-Towers? Thanks

It's rather difficult to grade a banknote based on pictures. It's best to have the notes in hand in order to properly grade them.
A couple options for you:
1. Take them to a local coin dealer and ask them to give you an opinion on grade/value.
2. Send them off to a professional grading service.
3. Charlton catalogues have a grading reference chart that helps you determine grade.
4. Try your local coin club or coin show.

Each option has its pros and cons.

However, for what it's worth, it's been my experience that devil's face banknotes are quite collectible and a great pickup at face value! Congrats!

Obviously, there is a premium because it is a "devils face" note.
The value will be less because of the missing corner and the graffiti on the note.

+1

Watch the grading video posted by desiboyee:

and try to get a good estimate. The missing corner & graffiti do not bring down the grade but would be mentioned (& will lower what you can expect for them). They lower overall eye appeal but as @GMS5 points out - you get them for FV & that's huge.
