Could not have been there since 1974 since some of the notes are 1979-1985 issues, so typical of fact checking by the taxpayers reporters.. Whenever I see a stash of cash like that recovered I always wish I could check the serial number prefixes myself. One of the $2.00 pictured is an RZ prefix & it makes me wonder if there's any RS prefixes (test notes) or ABX (replacements) or even the odd regular *RA prefix. They're in a bit rough shape but still would be worth more than FV (if there was a tough prefix). And then I want to know what the first duct cleaning service were doing (why they didn't discover the stash)? (Also: not all the notes are 1974's. $100 is 1975, the $20 & the one $5.00 pictured appear to be 1979 with serials on the back).
