I have a 1959 Lincoln that weight only 2.965 grams. I have never had one that weigh less than 3.1 grams any advice.

Planchet stock was rolled too thin - it happens.

EDIT: Forgot to add - Without looking at the numbers, 2.965 grams still seems to be in tolerance with the Mint specs. I'm sure someone else can answer that................

Mint tolerence is +/- .12 grams.

Not uncommon. In my several decades of Lincoln Cent collecting/searching I've come across many, many pieces which fall under the 3 gram mark.
