I have these 2 Lincoln cents.Both are from 1971. I'm not sure if it's a mint error or human defacing. Any help is greatly appreciated!

They're just badly damaged. PMD. They have been grinded/sanded down.

wow, I'm late to this one - but I'll add that it looks to have been intentionally sanded down. getting accurate weights of these would confirm it.
