I know nothing about these coins and just got this one, I couldn't get the colour right it has a dark brown look. It looks normal to me but thats never the case. New pics , had a soak in Verdi-Care Edited by mcshilling 02/24/2024 10:45 am

PC59-118 from Haxby I think. Good D/C Id's at leaves 5, 12 and 16/1 ... also a nice D/C on the E in Dei and the T in cent is nicely doubled bottom left. You have a later-state coin and it's a rarity 3, so not too common. Look it up on the Haxby site. We also included that coin in our 2011 Vicky variety guide in the 65th Charlton. https://www.vickycents.com/prime.htmlClose to VF-20

Agreed on close to VF20. Due to the scratches, it could be net graded down to F15 if submitted to a TGP.

I think E-39A with 38 Obv. Just click on the link ID for whatever Reverse that you think it is in order to see which Obv's it was married to.

Yes, just a regular narrow 9, but that die pair, and coin, has a rarity of 3, not a rarity 1, as it is for the other 6-8 million 1859's.

Looks like an F-15 with original surfaces.
