It's often difficult to know how post-mint damage occurs, or whether such damage was deliberate or accidental.

This kind of looks like debris is attached to it. Perhaps it was in a fire and something sitting next to it melted and stuck to it. Perhaps it's a blob of glue someone used to attach it to a poster or some other object. Perhaps the scraping around the rim was caused by someone trying to prise the coin off of whatever it was stuck to.

There are probably going to be other people asking to see the other side, so I may as well ask for it now.
