Hi y'all! I arrived at coin collecting from a fascination with history. My favorite coin isn't particularly valuable, however, to me it's fascinating. It's a 2500 year old lump of silver about the size of my pinky nail and to think it's been passed around, bought bread, given to a grandkid for the festival of Zeus, paid off a bookie in Macedonia, got used to fix the plow or buy a new ox... It's a contemplative rabbit hole that I find delightfully diverting. I enjoy stacking as well as simply coin collecting and hope to leave my kids a collection worth looking at.
