I posted this earlier on another thread but my pics were bad. Here are some updated ones. Looks like the edge goes from copper to zinc and back to copper. I'm not sure how that could happen whether error or damage

It looks like the anomaly is in the rim gutter and you can see where the rim edge is copper and still raised like it wasn't hit in certain areas. I don't know but it looks like it happened before the strike. Thanks for any info

Thanks mrwiskers. I initially thought it may have happened when the coin was ejected from the striking chamber but when I took a good look at the edge it appears fully intact

The last picture shows a fully intact rim edge. No signs of damage to me. I could be wrong

Looks like scrapes to me, exposing the zinc. I could be wrong though.

Thanks E&V. It could be damage and most likely is. What made me think twice was the post earlier showing the same scrape looking lines on the pre strike post plating damage 2023 Lincoln. It's still an Extra V so Ill most likely just send it in and see if it comes back details

This is clearly post-strike damage. Some of the scraped metal has been repositioned over the field.

Thanks again. That makes sense. I didn't have my hopes up too high but had to ask anyway
