The gap in the rim evident in the obverse photo are consistent with other retained clips as well as the dove tailing used to authenticate clips. Please check the top of the obverse for extremely subtle blakesly effect. The upright mill may have left a little clue. The fin I surmise is consistent with the larger opening of the retained clip which the collar could not quite contain. The reverse letter distortion may have been caused by the planchet movement and or vibration as the hammer die filled with copper. Maybe kinda sorta on the third Tuesday of the week. Wonderful coin!

There is no Blakensky, so all the energy was at the bottom of the coin. There is a second clip like grove so it seems like it was bouncing in the chamber a couple of times. So its kinda like a double incomplete clip coin.

Looks damaged prior to, or during, pliofilm packaging.

I have seen that a few times.
